Sticks Cabinet System – Wonderful Dutch Design

The Sticks cabinet system by Dutch designer Gerard de Hoop was inspired by looking at a pile of placards against a wall. It consists of boxes in four widths and four depths, each standing jauntily on one leg.

Legs come in a variety of lengths, so you can choose different configurations.

By combining the short legs with large or small cupboards, you can make a sideboard or a shoe rack; put large cupboards atop long legs to make a wardrobe.

Or mix and match different heights to make an eye-catching centerpiece for a room. A wonderful example of Dutch design.
