Pulse is a super modern and multifunctional sofa, designed by design studio Noidoi from Norway.

We could get all corny and state the obvious such as we feel a jolt of admiration pulse through us or we have to take the pulse of this multifunctional piece of furniture but that wouldn’t do this creation right. We are serious in our appreciation for this multipurpose item.

The Pulse daybed has a Japanese feel, not only because of its functionality, but also by the simple lines and minimalist design. Below the wooden part there is a magazine container, which can be removed for example when placing it in a more convenient location if desired.

Doesn’t the pose remind you of the Roman eating position? Of course you don’t have to necessarily eat on the Pulse, just pointing out its versatility and its regal character.

A part of the wood bed can be pulled out and can serve as a serving tray. The solid oak sofa has a mattress of sustainable Norwegian wool, which in part can be folded, making a wooden hatch is visible.

So there you have it, daybed, magazine rack and serving tray all in one. How versatile.
