Basso is a modular minimalistic shelf system, designed by Thomas Feichtner and produced by the Austrian company Eternit.
The fibre cement of Eternit is a very environmentally friendly and durable material, suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
The shelving unit consists out of three different basic elements, which can be stacked together one upon or next to the other with simple round wooden pins.
This modular piece of furniture can be used not only for books and other supplies, but also for wine bottles or storage of firewood.
Fibere cement is a weathering resistance material and has a little weight.
Different famous designers and architects have worked with this material, because of this characteristics.
