Household furniture doesn’t always have to be flashy. Sometimes, simple is best.
This holds true for the Mono stepping stool designed by Steffen Kehrle for Richard Lampert.
Unlike other contemporary furniture that tries to insert artistic meaning into every corner and curve, Mono goes back to basics with its minimalist design and modern edge, and it’s made from completely recyclable materials.
Mono functions as both a double-ledged stepping stool and chair, allowing the user to get to hard-to-reach areas such as top shelves and cabinets.
This piece works well for adults and children alike.
Mono can be used in the kids’ room for fun and functional seating, or you can even put it in your office to add a splash of color to an otherwise mediocre environment. See also the Offi Tiki Stool.
There are five different color options to choose from: salmon orange, water blue, ivory, basalt gray and bright black. For more info contact Richard Lampert.
