Talk about “Different”. The Re Cinto sofa is entirely unique to anything you will likely come across in your local furniture store. The design of this piece is free-spirited while still appealing to the practical and loveable neat freak (that would be me), that lives inside of many of us.
The build of this sofa is very unconventional. Framed in by boards on all sides, the elongated seat is elevated in the center above a bottom board thus creating storage space.
The gaps around the sofa are filled with lovely, slender green-yellow cushions which (much to my joy), are removable yet will stay in place when put back. Perfect for kids and pets who love to play with everything and drag loose pillows about the house.
Additionally pleasing, the removability of the padding allows for more playfulness in color and cushion changes, as well as continually keeping your furniture modern. With the solid yet soft grey color on the seat itself, mixing and matching colors would be simple.
Another great use for these cushions that I did not see advertised would be to remove them and line the gaps in the sofa with them, thus creating the perfect nap space.
Although it’s obvious that the cushions are a selling point for me, another favorite feature of mine is the cut out space on the back of the sofa for cords and/or wires. Finally, the outlets behind your sofa are no longer completely useless.
Overall, I feel that this sofa is creatively yet practically designed, and if you were so lucky to be an owner of this sofa, I would suggest that you simply plug in your phone and phone charger, leave it with your bag and shoes on the storage level, and curl up to a cozy cushion lined couch for a mid-day nap.
