Doesn’t this shelving system take you straight back to the 50’s and 60’s? Its retro appearance has a seemingly Scandinavian touch.
Hive Shelving Unit however, is created by New York City based Chris Ferebree. Manufactured by Danish company Gubi, it does have that Northern European link.

The shelving system is constructed from multiplex, a bent aluminum core complemented with walnut veneer. The legs are from turned aluminum. It gives a slim, stylish, strong, and because of the natural walnut veneer, warm look.

Hive Shelving Unit has been designed by Chris Ferebee from 521 Design Studio.
