Studio Lorier has really outdone itself with Parallel Shelving. This magical furniture piece appears to defy gravity with its mind-bending shelving unit.
Each shelf appears to be magnetized in order to stay in place, but the truth is much simpler. Parallel Shelving uses spaced layers bands formed into rounded rectangles that fill each other’s negative spaces up when placed together.
Basically, they’re like a very easy jigsaw puzzle, and the number of positions you can choose from are quite numerous.
