It’s a common and natural sight, people occupying staircases. Whether you are in a city hall, on an outdoor festival, or even at home. Sitting on chairs is practical, playful, and can be fun too.
There’s much more to it than just needing to sit down after strolling the mall for hours. It exceeds a necessity. That’s what Geof Ramsay must have thought too.
The Steps bench is a creative take on seating which we like a lot. Both in functionality as in design.
Calling this piece a staircase to heaven would be a tad bit exaggerating but it´s a pretty cool piece of furniture nonetheless.
The bench is made of maple plywood and comes with three cushions to lounge and to sit.
The cushions are available in different colors. The product is crafted in Halifax, Canada, and available made-to-order from Geof Ramsay Design Studio.
